What is Social Media?!

Everyone is talking about “Social Media”.  And fact is, most companies are using it it – yet very few of them know how to effectively leverage it to make money. No more wasting time getting lost on Twitter, sweating over your next blog post, and worrying about website searchability. Let the Power of Basics team walk you through the steps of a successful and sustainable Social Media campaign.  In two days you will be able to answer these Social Media questions.
DAY 1:

Why do I care about Social Media?: building your brand  (2 hours)
Social Media is quickly growing as one of the most critical elements business. Customers want more than just a website, they want to know who you are, what you stand for and how you think before they contact you – especially if there is geographic distance. How do I build my Social Media to best speak to my brand?: where the real fun starts (2 hours)
Bring your laptops and Power of Basics will either help you establish your Social Media tools or refine your current profile, depending on your level of need.

For those that have no campaign, we will guide you through opening your account and matching it to your brand.  For intermediate to advanced users, we will review the Social Media tools you have in place and recommend changes and enhancements that will reinforce your brand and support your marketing strategy more effectively while drawing in consumers.  We will also recommend additional tools if appropriate.  This will be a very intense work and review time.

DAY 2:

Now that your Social Media tools are in place and/or enhanced for productivity, The Power of Basics team will walk you through the various Social Media campaign rules that will keep your clients interested, your usage time down, and your brand strong.  We will discuss such things as: Using different strategies for different clients, how to identify and avoid mixing conflicting strategies, how to keep the conversation on business and away from over-personalization, rules for getting customers involved, how to involve your community in your conversation, how to cross promote between companies, leveraging connections and business relationships to drive your market as a whole.
